By close liaison with the Product Support Managers of the manufacturers we represent, we stimulate a process of constant feedback with improvement of quality and service levels in mind.

SMD Quality Registration was upgraded to the ISO9001:2000 standard during 2003. Our quality commitment is borne out by our well established credibility and reputation for high quality work. The major part of our work is obtained from referrals.

As an associate member of the I.S.E.S. association our contacts extend to similar Marine Electronics companies operating elsewhere in the world. ISES, offers a platform for promoting the marine electronics service industry to ship owners and managers. SMD is also a member of the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) in the United States. SMD fully subscribes to the aims and ideals of these organisations.
