Standard Horizon VM3500E
Marine VHF
This fully featured water resistant Marine VHF can
take the day to day punishment of the severest conditions. The front
panel can even take direct water over the bow! The VM-3500E has
a built in 30 Watt loud hailer with pre-programmed fog signals and
talk back. With the RAM+ CMP25 second station mic intercom facilities
are available and two RAM microphones can be connected.
Full Class D DSC facilities are available, compare
most other units which are Class SC-101. In an emergency the VM3500
will transmit its position (GPS connection required) along with
the distress call and you can poll another vessel equipped with
Standard Horizon VHF and display its position on a Standard Horizon
Plotter.
Both the Microphone and the Ram+ Mic feature a uniquely
designed waterproof unit and use Clear Voice technology, a Vertex
Standard innovation, to provide the clearest transmission with reduced
wind and engine background noise.
The Standard Horizon VM-3500E carries European approvals
and can be fitted on EU flagged fishing vessels.
