Introducing the 15” LCD Radar JMA-5200 series.

The long expected JMA-5200 series black box marine radar from Japan Radio Company has finally made its first step into the nautical world. This radar, mainly targeted for fishing vessels, workboats and IMO vessels under 1,000GT, incorporates similarity to its big brother the JMA-5300. All items will be available separately, meaning you can configure the JMA 5200 radar in a manner which perfectly fits all your demands.

The JMA-5200 radar contains 3 pieces of Tornado processor, identical to the JMA-5300 with its unsurpassed performance. Apart from its nautical technology, JRC continues its corporate design. Many optional items are therefore in line with the JMA-5100 and JMA-5300 radar series to make the systems more flexible.

As of August 2006, we should be able to deliver the 10 & 25 kW versions. Early in 2007 JRC will add a 6 kW and a high-speed scanner version to the JMA-5200 radar series.
