The Standard Horizon HX270
and HX370 are two rugged, reliable VHF portables
which have both the features that you expect to find in a marine
portable and their own unique features.
The Hx-270 and HX-370 are pre-programmed with all
International, USA and Canadian channels. Dual Watch and programmable
scanning are included along with a Preset Key to recall up to 8
of your most used channels and quick access to CH 16. A large backlit
LCD display clearly indicates the channel selected. The battery
life indicator on the display warns when the battery requires recharging.
These units have a high impact resistant non-corrosive
cases, display lens and extensive waterproof gasketing. They are
waterproof to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes.
A high intensity distress strobe light is built in
to the front panel of the HX-370 can flash the International Distress
Signal and is visible over 1 km at night.
